The Buchannan service dept is amazing! I came in for a new key fob. But asked if the service dept could check under the hood to see if the squirrel, who thinks that under the hood of my car is a great place to build a nest, had done any damage to the wiring. I had the best experience here buying my first car. Jenna was absolutely wonderful and so helpful at explaining everything. I never felt pressured and always felt as though I was being listened to. OUT-OF-STATE BUYERS BEWARE!!! For the most part, I had a positive experience buying my used Ford from Buchanan Automotive. I was unhappy with the additional add-ons, (ceramic coating $999.00 – not professionally done, Nitrogen filled tires $199.00, and some GPS tracking system $799.00) I was not aware of before visiting the dealership. I was quoted a price for 2 years of Maryland registration and only received 1 year. Dealer stopped responding when I insisted on the additional year of registration or a refund of my money.
We recently bought a used GMC Canyon from Buchanan Chevrolet GMC in Waynesboro, Pa. The entire sales staff were very friendly and helpful. This dealership reminds me of the way buying a car used to be. No high pressure, honest answers to our questions and no surprises. The service department handled the Maryland State Inspection and all of the paperwork since this was an out of state purchase. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Buchanan Chevrolet GMC, and will look there first when we are in the market for another vehicle.

I drove 2 hours away to buy a 2013 Ram 1500 from them and I’m very satisfied with my purchase every one was very nice and helpful. After purchasing the truck I found a few things wrong with the truck and they immediately said they’d do the right thing and take care of it and gave me a loaner car. Buying a truck is sometimes an arduous exercise but Reece and the rest of the group made it an easy experience. I’m in Maryland but came to Pennsylvania for the truck because it had all the parameters I wanted. A slew of dealers in Maryland could not get the truck I wanted.
